The perfect wood for your projects
A seemingly trivial thing, namely a wooden stake, is of great importance in geodetic work. Choosing the right stake can significantly speed up the measurement team's work. That's why we offer you stakes made from different types of wood.
Hardwood stakes (beech)
The beech wood is extremely hard - the hardness of a stake with dimensions 2.5x2.5 corresponds to the softwood with dimensions 4.0x4.0. According to the Brinell scale, the average hardness of softwood is 1.6 and of beech wood is 3.8. Thanks to this hardness and thanks to the sharpening method (cone as in the picture), the beech stake sticks easily to hard and dry ground without cracking or chipping. The worker saves time - he does not have to replace damaged stakes, so he can quickly complete his tasks on site (damaged stakes are also a loss for the company, beech stakes significantly eliminate this problem). The smaller width of the stake makes it easier to penetrate the ground and leads to a reduction in the consumption of paint for marking the point (reducing costs for the company). The stakes remain perfectly visible. This size also makes it easier to store and transport material (stakes are packaged in packs of 25). These stakes are smooth, which allows easy and accurate description of the points, which in turn is of great importance to the worker in terms of saving time and which has the effect of eliminating the commission of errors by employees.
Hardwood posts (beech) - Benefits:
Ideal for use in difficult terrain with hard surfaces
Beech wood does not break when hit
Easily penetrates the ground and stays firmly in place
The beech wood is smooth, making it easier to write on
Low risk of splinter injuries

Pine posts and boards are an excellent choice when we need to build a structure (e.g. wooden profiles for marking building walls). Pine is definitely softer than beech, which allows us to drive a nail easily, stably and precisely. The pine posts we offer are thicker than beech posts, which ensures sufficient resistance to being driven into the ground. A pine post is about 15% lighter than a beech post, which allows even a thick pine post to be transported without any problems. Building boards are additionally planed to obtain sufficient smoothness for easy axis marking.
Softwood stakes (pine, fir, spruce)
Softwood posts (pine, fir, spruce) – Advantages:
An ideal material for construction profiles for marking out buildings
Thick posts keep their position in the ground stable
The moderate hardness of the wood enables the construction of stable structures.
